Hello, and welcome to my site. This is my sandbox for me to flesh out my interests outside of college and work.

If you would like, you can associate the page owner as Crow, he/him. I journal a lot, not for enjoyment of journaling but because it prevents implosion.

Mostly, I will focus on fandom things, my art projects, and I'll maybe even post life updates. But don't count on those too much lol.

Fandoms I am into are Persona 5 and Persona 5 Royal (P5R), as well as Persona 4+Golden (P4G). I finished my first playthrough of P5R on Dec 16, 2023 after starting it on my Switch on launch day, Oct 21, 2022. I clocked a time of 202 hours on Hard, a number I am more than happy to horrify my friend with. She finished her first playthrough in 80 hours.

This site will include spoilers. Please leave if you do not want to be spoiled for any of these games.

Things I accomplished in my first playthrough:

  • Collected every Mementos stamp
  • Maxed Confidants with Ryuji, Ann, Takemi, Shinya, and Toranosuke
  • Got Confidant 9 with Iwai (he never invited me out again after Confidant 9... I waited too long TT_TT)
  • Completely ignored any romance options
  • Completely ignored the heavily caked on "appeal" to engage with adult female romantic interests as an underaged person in the same game whose initial antagonist is a child predator
  • Earned every Tycoon card game achievement, sans Avalanche. It's so hard!! The closest I got was hands of 8, 11, and 12. Damn you, Futaba...
  • Reached Technical Level 3 with everybody but Akechi. I choke on the second or third throw, every time, only on his. I can feel his judgement, but it's not like he goes out of his way to mask it, either. Narcissist (fondly, with frustration).
  • Broke the Reaper's ankles at least 3 times
  • Became the Captain at Big Bang Burger
  • Finished half of the milestones on the crane games in Shibuya arcade, gacha games on Central Street, and at the batting cages in Yongen-Jaya. Paid no attention to the fishing minigame
  • Cried and cried and cried and cried
  • These accomplishments were very fun and also slowly sapped any joy I received from playing these games. I am a completionist and I like to explore the world and its characters. Big reason why I love the Persona series, they reward players that have a lot of time to waste on video games.

I have a few short thoughts regarding my first playthrough experience, but I'll add it under a cut if you either a) want to read my fully fleshed thoughts when I eventually write them, or b) you don't care lol. ... [INSERT DIV HERE] Did you know that the game does not allow you to screenshot or record dialogue once the Royal content begins? I do. Because I've been taking screenshots and videos of nearly every dialogue cutscene since I started, and once the Royal content began I had to switch to my phone. I was pissed, and I still am. I don't see why the vanilla game still allows you to do so, as if the Royal content deserves to be "preserved" in the bubble of whoever can afford to play it?? It's all getting uploaded and recorded either way! You've just made it harder for the people like me who don't have an extra computer to assist with archiving the game. I hate you Atlus, for many reasons more than just this but this is a huge one as it directly impacts my enjoyment of the extended game. I will withold on my full list of gripes, critiques, and praises for this post. Picture me typing on the keyboard angrily, but only in my mind because this is the work computer and I have to treat it nicely. We're never getting a replacement if I break it; the only thing being replaced would be my position LOL.

(I'm still working on this feature... bear with me)

Because I am focused on my P5R playthrough, I am not active in many other fandoms at the moment. When I eventually need a break from lines and lines of heavy text and themes and the general exhaustion that is intrinsic to the Persona Experience, I love playing Rune Factory 4 Special. I grew up on Harvest Moon and Rune Factory when those eventually came out, and the love still carries on. I have, unfortunately, never finished a Rune Factory game. It is a weight that I do not carry with grace. Especially since Rune Factory 4 is the easiest game to complete from the entire series. This is something that I do not plan to dedicate time to, as I do still enjoy the mindless farming and battle simulator outside of my ravenous desire for completionism and I am still working on P5R. Eventually, I will see it done. Just not in the forseeable future.
